Teaching

I've got three years of teaching experience at both the graduate and undergraduate level, in the journalism department at Emerson College.

I've taught every aspect of multimedia production, including video, audio and image gathering and editing, animation and interactive storytelling, web design, content management systems and online publishing. Courses include: Online Publishing, Writing and Reporting Across the News Media, and Images of News. Software instruction includes Flash, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Contribute, Audition, Audacity, Soundslides, HTML, and CSS.

Despite an offer to continue teaching in the fall semester of 2010, I've taken a break to fully focus on my current full-time job at the Harvard School of Public Health. I am very much interested in future teaching opportunities, however.
